Roman Pearl & Carnelian Set
Classic Republican / Early Empire aesthetic: Genuine pearls and melon beads handcarved from carnelian. Of course this would have been gold in period, but the current cost of gold ($1700/oz) makes brass a more practical choice.
The security earwires are common in Roman artifacts. Although they can be a little tricky to put in the first time, you quickly get the hang of it, and they are very comfortable (and safe!) once on.
