Fidgets for ADHD folks

I was enjoying lunch with a friend when the topic turned to a stressful one. As he talked, he systematically shredded the corner of a finger. I resolved to give people a healthier (and prettier) way to “stim” – spinner rings and pendants meant to be played with.

The brass necklace provides a unique texture on the front, the round amethyst to touch, amethyst beads on a chain that can be pulled back and forth, and a satisfying squiggle to trace on the back. And of course I handmade the chain, which has its own wonderful feel to it. $150.

This was my first batch of spinner rings. It’s tricky to get that seam to maintain its integrity when it’s stretched to create the wide lip. I’m working on it!

  1. I have one of Tullia’s early fidget pendants. I adore it and always get so many compliments every time I wear it.
